To be successful in the role candidates should have a excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. On the IT skills front, a good knowledge of Lotus Notes application development, Java or .Net. Good web development with HTML, CSS and Java script is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on external client projects as well as the continuous development of the company's own business software applications.

They will be expected to use their skills and experience to be a lead developer within the team responsible for ensuring that the projects they are assigned are delivered on time, to the highest quality standards and within budget.

The successful candidate will be innovative in both their software development work and in their contribution to the continuous development of the processes within the organisation and the technical team. This will involve managing and mentoring junior software developers to ensure the continuous improvement of the team.
